This browser-based service consolidates the vote totals from every race in the country, automatically updated every 5-7 minutes, giving you the most credible and trusted information as the returns come in. You can select nationwide results for Senate/House/Governor, or full results for selected states. Delivering the accuracy and reliability you expect from AP, the data for AP Vote Count is gathered by AP’s army of over 5,000 staffers and stringers stationed in every county and parish in the country.
Available packages:
- State Vote Count: Full ticket state vote totals for individual state primary or general election races, including (when applicable) President, Governor, US Senate, US House, State Legislative, ballot issues and initiatives, and statewide and local races of news interest – with state summary and county (town level for New England) level results for all races. Also included is access to historical General Election results from the 2000, 2002, 2004, and 2005 elections, for President, Governor, US Senate, and US House races, for all 50 states.
- Results are packaged by state and election event – primary and/or the general election.
- National Vote Count: For the General Election only, all state summary results including (when applicable) President, Governor, US Senate, US House, and initiatives of national interest. Also includes national trend and analytical data:
