DC's # 1 All News Station Turns to AP Radio for Spanish Online

Washington, D.C., –  Bonneville's WTOP in Washington, D.C. will now provide AP Spanish Online to its Web audience on www.wtopnoticias.com, becoming the first English language site to add a fully hosted Spanish online news service. WTOP debuts the product today, providing the capital area's growing bilingual Spanish audience the opportunity to read national and international news in their native language.

AP Spanish Online offers total coverage of the U.S., Latin America and the world, all in Spanish. U.S. domestic and world headlines and stories are linked to sidebars and photos with Spanish captions for use on any station's Web site.

"WTOP is thrilled to add Spanish language news to what is an already-robust news website”said Steve Dolge, Manager of Internet Operations, WTOP, WGMS, FederalNewsRadio.com, VivaLaVoce.com. “This is an area that has tremendous growth potential and further establishes wtopnews.com as an industry leader, not just in broadcasting, but on the internet.”
