Raycom’s Expansion Extends AP’s ENPS To Group-Wide Portfolio
Washington, DC – Eleven new Raycom Media-owned television stations are the latest newsrooms to add ENPS, AP’s industry leading broadcast news production system, for increased workflow efficiencies. The agreement converts WAVE, WTOL, WLBT, WFIE, KLTV, WSFA, WALB, KCBD, WLOX, KPLC, and KAIT from Avid’s news production software to AP’s ENPS by the end of 2007.
“Raycom Media is really thrilled to expand its currently productive relationship with AP and with ENPS in particular” said David Folsom, VP, Chief Technology Officer, Raycom Media, Inc. “We feel that ENPS machine control integration with the full newsroom through the MOS protocol is a critical part of our news strategy going forward.”
