AP Adds More Than 40 New Affiliates
Cox, Clear Channel, Citadel Stations Lead List
WASHINGTON – AP Radio continues its impressive growth by adding another 48 stations in top markets throughout the US.
"We are very pleased with our growth" said Thomas P. Callahan, General Manager of AP's Radio Division. "Music programmers see the value of show prep, actualities, news, information and entertainment for today's audiences, which is what we offer at AP."
Audio products, including AP Network News (APNN), and web-based SoundBank and PrimeCuts lead the list of newly added station services. APNN is a live; 24-hour newscast available in flexible format, while SoundBank is an audio archive and PrimeCuts provides the current day's sound on all major news, entertainment, sports and business stories.
