Over 400 workstations added will benefit from workflow efficiencies
Washington, D.C. – Building on last quarter’s growth, AP’s ENPS software continues to transform newsrooms everywhere with its innovative content workflow integration. Fourteen broadcasters representing over 400 newsroom workstations are the latest to select the industry’s most popular newsroom software. They join almost 500 other worldwide broadcasters, U.S. networks and station groups and 24-hour cable news channels recognizing the flexibility, reliability and end-to-end workflow solutions that ENPS provides.
“Our ongoing development efforts provide stations with unparalleled technical accomplishments,” said Lee Perryman Deputy Director of AP's Broadcast division and Director of Broadcast Technology, “allowing journalists to perform better using ENPS, taking fewer steps with less confusion for greater productivity for their news enterprises.”
AP’s news production systems are the most widely installed in the United States and help coordinate broadcast production in almost 600 television, radio, and network newsrooms in 51 countries. Over the past eight years, AP's ENPS has accounted for seven of every 10 news production system installations or upgrades worldwide. Powerful, easy-to-use features include scripting, program rundowns, planning, contacts, messaging, news wire management, production device control, an integrated search engine, and off-line and remote access capabilities for field staff.
