AP Signs Five More Leading News/Talk Sites for Hosted Online Content
Bonneville, CBS, Entercom, Tribune latest to ink Web deals
WASHINGTON – Chicago’s WBBM-AM and WGN-AM, WXNT-AM in Indianapolis, Seattle’s KIRO-AM and Boston’s WBZ-AM are the latest large market radio stations to offer AP’s Hosted Custom News for their Web sites. Hosted Custom News is a continually updated news and information service that offers a full multimedia experience with video, text, photos, graphics, audio, and sophisticated Flash interactives.
“Radio stations across the country are growing their online content” said Thom Callahan, general manager of AP Radio. “AP’s Hosted Custom News service offers a fully hosted, online solution for stations needing rich and relevant content, while retaining their branded image.”
