WASHINGTON – The RTNDA and Associated Press have assembled a panel of radio industry experts to discuss the future of radio news at the annual RTNDA@NAB meeting next week in Las Vegas. Moderated by AP Radio General Manager Thom Callahan, the RTNDA forum will take place on Tuesday April 19, 2005 1:30-3:30pm on the floor of the Las Vegas Hilton Convention Center.
In addition to Callahan the “What’s the Future of Radio News?” panel will feature:
- Jay Clark, Executive Vice President, Programming, Sirius Radio
- Steve Jones, Vice President & General Manager, ABC News Radio
- Gabe Hobbs, Vice President of programming, News/Talk/Sports, Clear Channel Radio
- Harvey Nagler, Vice President, Radio, CBS News
“We are at a pivotal point in how consumers get their news today and being able to discuss where we go from here with a well respected group such as this should provide some enlightening dialogue,” Callahan commented.
